Quooker Boiling Water Tap Installation, Done Properly
A Quooker needs both a plumbing connection and a dedicated electrical supply. Element covers both under one roof, so there's no second tradesperson to book and no gap between the two halves of the job — across Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, York, Skipton, Bradford and Leeds.
Instant Boiling Water, Installed Right
A Quooker tap delivers filtered boiling water on demand from the tap itself, alongside normal hot and cold — no separate kettle, and depending on the model, an add-on for filtered chilled and sparkling water too. Getting it installed properly means two things most installers split across two trades: a correctly plumbed-in tank under the sink, and a dedicated electrical supply to run it. Element handles both, so it's one visit, one point of contact, and no waiting on a second tradesperson to finish the job.
Quooker isn't the only option, either — we also fit other boiling water tap brands, so if Quooker's price point is more than you want to spend, we can recommend something that suits your budget and spec instead.
Is a Quooker Right for Your Kitchen?
- You're tired of waiting for the kettle, or refilling it throughout the day
- You're renovating or replacing your kitchen and want to future-proof the tap setup
- You want to free up worktop space currently taken by a kettle (and potentially a water filter or chilled water unit)
- You have, or are considering, under-sink space for a tank — this needs checking before you order
- You want filtered chilled and sparkling water as well as boiling, hot, and cold, from the same tap

What Does a Quooker Installation Cost?
A Quooker system is priced in two parts: the tap-and-tank unit itself, and the installation. As a guide, Quooker's own current UK pricing for the tap-and-tank unit starts from around £1,050 for an entry-level Nordic single tap up to around £2,420 for a top-specification Fusion in a premium finish, with the optional CUBE (filtered chilled and sparkling water) adding around £1,250 on top. These are Quooker's own supply prices, not Element's fitted price — for exact, current figures by model and finish, see Quooker's official pricelist, since Quooker updates it periodically and we'd rather you see the real number than a figure that's gone out of date on our site.
Element's installation cost depends on your existing plumbing and electrical setup, and whether under-sink space needs any adjustment. Get in touch for a proper assessment and a clear, itemised quote covering supply (if you'd like us to source the unit) and installation.
If Quooker is more than you'd like to spend, we also fit other boiling water tap brands — tell us your budget and we'll recommend an option that suits it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an electrician as well as a plumber for a Quooker?
Not separately — Element covers both the plumbing connection and the dedicated electrical supply as part of the same job, so there's only one team to book.
How much under-sink space do I need?
This depends on the tank you choose — we'll confirm exact clearance requirements during your survey, including space needed for future servicing access.
Can I supply my own Quooker and just have Element install it?
Yes, we're happy to quote for installation only if you've already purchased your unit.
How often does a Quooker need servicing?
Regular descaling and filter changes are part of normal upkeep, with frequency depending on your local water hardness — we'll talk you through this at handover.
Is a boiling water tap actually worth it?
It depends on how your household uses hot water day to day — see our honest breakdown of the upsides, downsides, and real cost before you decide.
